As I watched my ball clear the water and a sand trap and land on the edge of the green, I was happy. Then I watched my ball rolling toward the flagstick; and, to my amazement, it disappeared. I yelled to my husband, "I think I made a hole in one." We were both so excited to get to the green and find my ball was indeed in the hole. |

No, it wasn't a hole-in-one, it was an Albatross. Yes, I didn't know what it was either. For golfers, it's a Double Eagle. 500 yard made in 2 shots. To put it in prospective , a hole in one odds are 13,000 to 1. According to Golf Digest, an Albatross is 6,000,000 or roughly 460 time more rare than a hole in one! 500 yard Par 5, 260 yard drive, with a 240 2nd shot (with driver) into the cup! I had to buy drinks for all the guys in my party and we had a blast, or what I can remember of it! |

When I tee off #17 hole my Callaway CTU 30 ball landed on the small hill in front of the green, took one bounce and disappered from our view. All of us walked to the green together and looked for my ball. One individual said he would look in the hole and chuckled. When he got to the hole and looked down he began jumping up and down and said Hole-In-One, Hole in one, I've never played with anyone before who has shot a Hole-In-One.
